Luster Technologies is a technology company incorporated in Uganda. The company was founded in 2012 to incubate, develop and avail technological products and services. We have been dealing in technology related products for three years now, installing and configuring automated electrical systems in homes. Luster Technologies strives to provide the latest technologies with practicality and convenience, at an affordable price.

LED light sales and installation
Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights offer energy saving and operational lifetime far superior to the commonly used florescent lights, therefore allowing institutions to reduce lighting energy costs by up to 60%. LEDs have become the most practical lighting solution due to increasing affordability and quality.
We have been installing LED products in large establishments where a reduction in energy consumption greatly increases profitability and efficiency. We assist our clients’ transition to LED lighting by carrying out energy audits to ascertain the current energy usage and the impact of transitioning to LED lighting. We then supply the required LED products that will ensure optimum lighting levels and maximum energy efficiency. While some LED products like bulbs are simply retro-fitted, other products like LED tubes need some changes to the light fixture that should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Our main line of work has been replacing fluorescent tubes with LED tubes, since fluorescent tubes account for more than 80% of lighting in commercial buildings. We offer installation of our LED tubes at no extra cost. All our products are of the highest quality and come with a two year warranty.
SMART HOME ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
Smart Home electrical systems have the ability to network all lighting and electrical appliances in a home, to allow for much more flexible control from a centralized control platform like a Smart phone, or a handheld remote. Our switches, sockets and relays may be operated like normal switches and sockets, but since they are all on a local network, they may be controlled remotely, or even programmed so that the house automatically suits the lifestyle of the residents. The same way one may program their alarm to go off at a set time, the bedroom lights may be programmed to turn on at a set time. The convenience is also matched with practical and financial benefits like saving energy by using dimmable energy efficient LED lights, and ensuring that all appliances are conveniently turned off when not in use.
